All I can say is Melissa Huie is the BOMB!! She is an
excellent author.
This is the 2nd book from the Broken Road
Series. I read the first book a year ago
and couldn’t wait for the Broken Promise to come out. This book picks up where the first book left
off. I love me some SHANE!!! He is back.!! You really don’t know what is going to
happen.
I love books that will totally suck me in and this series
does. All of the characters were introduced
in Broken Road. Meg and Shane had
been friends for a long time. Their
friendship grew to become more than friends as they became lovers. They knew
they loved each other from the very start. Shane has a secret and a dark
past. Meg gets involved in this whirlwind
of events. Meg's character is your
typical female lead that is lusting after her long time crush but suffers
insecurities. Shane! WOW! Talk about HOT!! He is every woman’s
dream.
You have got to read this book. Talk about amazing!! Broken Promise was so worth the
wait. If you love hot, steamy books you
have got to read this one!! But, you
have to read Broken Road first so you will be introduced to all the
characters.
Melissa, you have done it again!! Another great read and I
can’t wait read your next adventure!!
