Whole Latte Love (Contemporary Romance Book Review)

All I can say is another GREAT ONE from Rachelle Ayala Publishing, LLC. SHE ROCKS!!!!

This book had me sucked in after the first 2 pages!!!  Set in Berkeley, California, Whole Latte Love is a romance of opposites-attracting.  It mixes bluesy rock music, hot, steamy love scenes, and financial shenanigans.

The chemistry between Investment Banking intern Carina Chen and the Free spirit Dylan Jewel embraces everything opposites attract stands for in a romance.  Carina Chen doesn’t need any distractions—especially the sexy, guitar-playing barista she rooms with for the summer.  Dylan, oh Dylan, appreciates the delightful universe of women who vie for his attention. His goal in life is to do good, make happy coffee, and help the homeless.

Carina is so different than Dylan in every way, or so she thinks.  She does not like to party and needs lots and lots of sleep to stay on her strict schedule she sets for herself. Carina is bound and determined not to fall in love and to do anything and everything she has to do to secure her spot in banking after her internship is over.  Dylan is everything a book boyfriend should be.  HOT!!!

When they both meet there are instant sparks but they both have to fight it.  Will they end up together or will they keep fighting it?  That is something you will have to find out.

Silicone Muffin Pan

Stress Free Baking and Scrub Free Cleaning Is What I Am Talking About!!

I have always baked in metal muffin pans and was quite hesitant about reviewing this product.  But after I have used it I don’t think I will be using metal pans anymore.

I took out my metal pan first and realized it really does have its drawbacks.  Rust can occur and that is not healthy.  Also, there is the chemical nonstick coating spray that eventually scrapes off and you are wondering if it went into your food. 

This nonstick muffin pan is made up of 100% high quality European silicone.  You can bake muffins, cupcakes, cornbread, and more in it.  The food will slide out effortlessly and bake perfectly every time you use it. 

The clean-up is a breeze.  After scrubbing your metal pans you will appreciate how easy this muffin pan is to clean.  All you do is use a little of dish detergent and water or you can just throw it in the dishwasher.   This is perfect for the new silicone user like me.  I am so impressed that I will not go back to the metal pans.

Silicon Baking Cups

These silicon baking cups will be part of my baking cupcakes bake ware from now on.  If you like to bake, the costs can easily add up with the purchase of paper liners.   With these baking cups you just wash and reuse.

These are amazing and so easy.  They are so colorful, nonstick and guaranteed to remain nonstick for the life of the product.  Why spend money on paper fillers when they get thrown away?  They are made with the highest quality of European silicone and clean-up is a breeze.

The Broken Promise Book 2: Broken Road Series.

All I can say is Melissa Huie is the BOMB!! She is an excellent author.

This is the 2^nd book from the Broken Road Series.  I read the first book a year ago and couldn’t wait for the Broken Promise to come out.  This book picks up where the first book left off.  I love me some SHANE!!!  He is back.!!    You really don’t know what is going to happen. 

I love books that will totally suck me in and this series does.  All of the characters were introduced in Broken Road.  Meg and Shane had been friends for a long time.  Their friendship grew to become more than friends as they became lovers. They knew they loved each other from the very start. Shane has a secret and a dark past.  Meg gets involved in this whirlwind of events.  Meg's character is your typical female lead that is lusting after her long time crush but suffers insecurities. Shane!  WOW!   Talk about HOT!! He is every woman’s dream. 

You have got to read this book.  Talk about amazing!!  Broken Promise was so worth the wait.  If you love hot, steamy books you have got to read this one!!  But, you have to read Broken Road first so you will be introduced to all the characters. 

Melissa, you have done it again!! Another great read and I can’t wait read your next adventure!!
