Ok…those of
you who know me, know that I love me some WINE!! But those of you who don’t,
two things….I was THRILLED to get a free hand-painted wine glass from Honey Bee Glass, and I LOVE ME SOME
WINE!!!
Now that we
have established the obvious, let me tell you about Honey Bee Glass….
The company
was founded by owner Jayme Norris in early 2012. The company, located in
Dripping Springs, TX, is a small, locally run family business. Jayme paints and
decorates each glass by hand and personalization comes free on all of their
items, not just wine glasses.
Other items
Honey Bee Glass sells are martini, margarita, and Mason jar glasses, along with
beer and coffee mugs. Glasses and mugs are great for all sorts of occasions such
as, bachelorette or bachelor parties, wedding party gifts, various types of
showers, or anytime for any gift occasion, really. Honey Bee hand painted
glasses have become so popular, in fact, that they can now be seen/purchased in
Germany, Canada, Australia and Mexico. Heck, even Rednecks love ‘em!!
When you order you just tell her what you want in colors, if you want bling or just something simple and she will do it for you. I have seen some of her glasses at weddings, and I personally have given some as gifts. As you can see mine is with my initial and one of my favorite colors is PINK and I asked her to bling it out for me. Jamey carefully paints and decorates with her sown special glitter and rhinestones.
Cleaning is a breeze!! They are beautiful yet fragile. The glasses are not recommended for the freezer or dishwasher. I just hand was mine with a little liquid soap, cool water and a paper towel. They clean easily and nothing comes off. I just sit it on a paper towel to dry and it's ready to go again.
